What’s cooking my *blogships?

The temperature is dropping dear readers, but my blogships are keeping me warm with their food inspired posts and drool inducing kitchen spaces. A round up of this weeks blog posts around the web that got me going:

john midgley mast bros

blogroll category:designy
blog name/url: bedlam of beefy
blogger: uncle beefy
post i loved: john midgley

I’d never heard of John Midgley before until I rolled upon him on Uncle Beefy’s blog, but boy does the guy know how to shoot one heck of an atmospheric shot?! His picture of bean to bar chocolate makers, the Mast Brothers is just spot on. Creative, beautiful, unpretentious and just oozing the epicness that comes with being in Brooklyn.

bircher museli

blogroll category: foodie
blog name/url: trotski and ash
blogger: sarah and romy
post i loved: bircher museli

Ever experienced hearing about something for the first time in your life and then not being able to live without it? I feel that way about nearly every recipe that trotski & ash post. Bircher Museli is no exception, a museli that is ‘soaked’ overnight for morning consumption is my new obsession thanks to them.

glen proebstel

blogroll category:designy
blog name/url: the design files
blogger: lucy
post i loved: interview-glen proebstel

Lucy never seems to fail in finding some amazingly talented designer/stylist/photographer for her ongoing interview series. Last week she interviewed stylist Glen Proebstel whose food focused work had my heart racing and my tummy singing.

boform kitchen

blogroll category: designy
blog name/url: trendwelt
blogger: an interiors addict
post i loved: Dänische Wohnformen

I love trendwelt, even though it’s not written in English it doesn’t matter. I’m able to understand the appeal of the beautiful interior spaces that are featured. This past week the kitchen spaces of Danish company Boform were on display..though very ‘white’ i loved their moderate industrial accents and sleekness. The one above was my favourite but check out more here.

*blogships is a rip on an email I got that opened with ‘ what’s cooking my friendships?’
