What’s cooking my *blogships?

There was some really great stuff knocking around the blogosphere last week. Here are a few of my foodie favourites.

merewether home

blogroll category: designy
blog name/url: come over sunday
blogger: justine and rachel
post i loved: Home of the Merewether family. 1959 – 2010.

Justine and Rachel of come over sunday captured this wonderfully retro kitchen in a 1950’s era home designed by architect John Merewether. Sadly, the vintage features will be lost as the current owners are preparing to put a home twice the size on the plot. I simply love this kitchen and dining room. It feels like a warm home – look at those cork floors, those almost seamless kitchen cupboards and that stove..oh that stove. I would ❤ a space like this!

apple gruyere sage muffins

Erm, the picture says it all really – i am dying to try these out they look so yummy and are such an interesting sweet/savoury mix.

shaved ice

Isn’t this shaved ice just perfectly shot? It reminds me of a beautiful feminine outfit.

lucy turner furnitre

blogroll category: designy
blogger: lynne
blog name/url: tea for joy
post i loved: lucy turner furniture

How lovely and crafty do these trolleys and tables by lucy turner look? Totally a wishlist item if ever I saw one. That trolley would make the most perfect liquor ‘cabinet’..

*blogships is a mash up of the words blog and friendships. however, not all of the blogs mentioned are friends of mine. or even remotely know who I am..
