post i loved: Cumulus Inc. Porcelain Coffee Cups by Ingrid Tufts
After reading lucy’s post, Ingrid Tuft‘s ceramic coffee cups for coffee house Cumulus Inc. instantly went onto my wishlist. Most I know go through several coffee cups on any given day much less during a typical week. As part of a government funded craft initiaive ceramicist Ingrid Tuft was paired with Cumulus inc, to come up with an aesthetic and practical answer to the usually disposable coffee cup. The result, an aesthetically pleasing re-useable, highly street portable, individually crafted coffee cup. Unfortunately these only appear to be available in Australia, but if they ever reach NY I will be sure to find out!

post i loved: friday
Krim Krams have moved to Norway and Lisa has not skipped a beat in whipping up her ever yummy looking plates of goodness. I paticularly like how her fare is light and covers various food groups, dairy, veg, meat, carbs, proteins etc etc. Oh and lets not forget the super vintage plates!
Ever wonder what goes into a food photo shoot? Nowadays, we are bombarded with beautiful shots of foods and ingredients by food bloggers, design mags and the like. But how is it that pro food shots look just THAT perfect?
My Life in food, a new show on the cooking channel, takes you behind the scenes in the lives of food stylists and photographers who share their tips and tricks into attaining the perfect shot. Be sure to tune in to this new series on Fridays at 9:30pm EST.
Chef John is one of my favourite online foodie personalities. There is just something so approachable and endearing about him that you can’t help but love his videos and recipes. This past week he debuted a Peach Brulee Burrata Bruschetta (try saying THAT after a few…), I absolutely HAVE to try out this recipe! I hope you do too. Watch the how-to video here.
