Unless you’ve been living under a rock this past week (does ANYONE live under a rock??), you would know that Liberty of London launched a line of housewares and whatnot on Sunday 14th March. Unless you’ve been living away from my blog this past weekend, you would know that I had an ‘epic fail‘ at nabbing the ONLY two things I am interested in picking up from said launch. A tea pot and two tiered tray. (Though I did score one of only two fab deep cerise chair cushions..).
In honour of Liberty’s wonderfully sophisticated florals – this weeks ‘Etsy Tuesday’ features pieces that reminded me of the spirit of Liberty’s.
Floral Sugar and Creamer Set
Nothing says British, like tea. Lots and lots of it. I know. I consume only about 3 cups a day since scaling back…and occasionally I do like to break out the creamer jug and sugar bowl. The hyper florals against a black background on this set screamed funky psychedelic. At only $8.75 it’s a steal. Check out at the ravenna girls vintage etsy store for more info.
Vintage Retro Floral Beverage Pump Thermos
Do you remember when Thermos’ were a more regular feature of day to day life? Where did those times go? I say bring it back! Take lunch to work in a thermos, plan picnic’s in the park over the summer, or just sit in the bench at the local public garden with a tea filled thermos for all the hardworking cultivators. Either way, this lovely vintage thermos is a beaut. J White is selling this gem for $26.
Vintage White Floral Daher Tin Container Made in England
Tins, ah tins. Good for so much. Storing take away menu’s, holding cupcake sleeves, containing little kitchen odds and ends. This floral one is prived at $14 at Dandelion Girl.
Plum Equestrian Mug Collection
Muggin’s here. This collection of vintage mugs hail from the 60’s-70’s. The florals are bold and the patterns funky. If you have a plum or green themed kitchen / kitchen tools collection, these will be a great addition. tawnillia’s storehas them for $18.
